Original Joe's (Terwillegar)
A couple months ago, I had a business lunch at Original Joe's because that's the sort of place that people go for a reasonably priced work-related meal. It turned out the prices weren't really that cheap, especially considering it was mediocre pub food. I ordered the most expensive item on the menu — the 10 oz New York steak ($28). I'm glad I didn't go for the cheaper dishes like burgers or fish and chips because they didn't look that great. I'm even more glad that the company paid for this meal because while the steak was acceptable, it was definitely not worth the price.
I'll probably never visit this chain again unless it's for social or business events because I'm really not a fan of pub food. And I certainly don't like the thought of paying $30 for a mediocre steak.
EDIT: I did end up revisiting this chain. Click here to read about it.
